Life....served 'crushed' up!

I know that we might never ever be together but still I am writing this to make you understand how much I love you. I know that when you will read this we will be long gone and dusted and you might have even forgotten me and if not, you will only remember me as just a mere man in billions. But my heart has only burnt with love for you, the only one i want in billions, and nothing can change it. But then suddenly the reality kicks me in my butt and reminds me of my life I'm missing out on. It feels like a bad dream and I certainly need to wake up. It all started with a friend request and who knew that one day my heart will start beating for you as if it was made to do so. I miss being the one who made you laugh, happy and even mad. You loved teasing me and I loved getting teased by you. You used to call me 'paagal' and yes, I am 'paagal', 'paagal' for you. Lately I have been losing sleep, dreaming about the things that we could be had there been a differ

The Idea Caravan

Franklin Templeton Investments partnered the TEDxGateway Mumbai in December 2012. Link to video :  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=88IJCKhsCTE Here in this video, Angad has correctly raised the issue of study pressure that every student faces in his school life. Running from one coaching to another, getting the homework done in time, preparing for exams and all that kind of stuffs that every student had to deal with. Exams, the pressure cooking time, screws the brain of many. School is generally considered, in Hindu mythology, as a temple of worship. True. But for some it  is rather a death's door where  students are slaughtered mercilessly . But now-a-days, are school doing what is correct? Or rather they are just increasing the competition between friends and decreasing their friendship. All of us might have experienced that when your friend fails, it hurts but only a little and if he comes first and you second, then the wound is very deep and painful. As portrayed in Stu

The Magic of Bokeh

If I were a bird...

If I were a bird.............I would think..................... whose head to shit on

My first ever Bokeh Shot

I have heard about Bokeh a lot but never shot it. This was the very first time. The source being a candle. Camera used: Canon S90 Despite these bokehs, I even took some low-light photos. The low light being due to power cut.

Five Facts

Once in youtube there was a viral video called ‘Five Facts’ that spread just like swine flu. Someone uploaded this video and kept tagging his friends on it until he was left without any. The video might have spread like flu because the uploader might have sneezed on his monitor screen. Then the tagged friends did the same but on their own video which had the same title. This video dealt with some basic facts which might be unknown to the viewer. So I thought of creating the same ‘Five Facts’ but this time on blogger. Though this time I am pretty sure that it will not spread like that flu because I didn’t sneezed on the monitor screen. Wait a sec…..aaa-chooo. Here goes the five facts about me which might be unknown to you. I can solve a Rubik’s cube : Yeah. This is true. I am one of the very few people of the world who can do that. Also I read somewhere, it might be a joke if you come to know about me, that those who can solve a Rubik’s cube are smarter than those who can’t…

Awful Moment Rap

(Chorus) Blowin Fusin Killin my brain, gonna not indulge myself in this wordy labyrinth, I can think it I can feel it I can be it I can know it, cause I know that this is an Awful moment. Sittin at home just watchin the telly, Exams were close and so was the tensity, I got up I looked around for books in the room, traipsing through the shelves and lookin round the room, then in a certain nook there was something I found, that was fat and pagey and paperback bound, yes it caught my eye I thought it’ll blow my mind, and it was a school book and it almost made me cry. (Chorus) x 1 Studying in my room, in the hot summer heat gotta get the job done, doin hard work my brain’s in debt, buildin up an appetite and working up a sweat, it was time to take a break for goodness sake, I was annoyed had a head-ache, but for refreshin my brain I found none but a book-ie, I didn’t knew just what to do but to throw away that bookie. (Chorus) x 1 Sittng on facebook so my brain ain't so

The Best Days: 19 May 2012

European Football was at its zenith as Manchester United, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Barcelona were the dominating teams. Chelsea were still considered underdogs. The UEFA Champions League 2011-2012 was going to begin. Barcelona, the defending champions, were the favorites. None thought that a club from the jolly-olly London would grab the silverware of the Champions League. The groups were announced. Chelsea had Bayern Leverkusen, Genk and Valencia in its group. For Chelsea, finishing first wasn't easy. This team didn't had expensive players, rather the team was dominated by players who loved the team and more importantly, the beautiful game of Football. The Champions League began. In Europe, it's just like a 7 months long festival that binds people of different nations, different accents and different races together. During the UEFA Euro Cup 2012, Russia had to face Czechoslovakia. The teams were against each other for the first time. This moment was histor

My Top 10 Favorite Movies

I am crazy for films. I like almost every film, despite the hilarious acting, directions and story line.  This is true to some extent, but I always try to imagine myself as a film critic. This work needs brain, so my brain always says to me "What the F*ck are you up to man. Stop thinking so much. This s#it screws me".  If a watch a movie, I can't stop imagining myself as a character of that movie. Every now and then, I start behaving like an idiot. Though this may sound stupid to you all, but I kind of enjoy this because, as I quote, "being stupid is funny". During the month of October (2012), I broke all the records, which were set up by my elder bro, of downloading the maximum number of movies. I downloaded exactly 50 movies, all this was possible because of my super-dooper internet scheme. Unlimited downloading at a super fast speed of 8mbps. Oooh. That nearly can blow up a baby :P I was sitting useless when I was thinking about my best movies ever. It

School Edu-ma-cation

School is generally considered, in Hindu mythology, as a temple of worship. True. But for some it  is rather a death's door where  students are slaughtered mercilessly . But now-a-days, are school doing what is correct? Or rather they are just increasing the competition between friends and decreasing their friendship. All of us might have experienced that when your friend fails, it hurts but only a little and if he comes first and you second, then the wound is very deep and painful. As portrayed in Student of the Year and 3 Idiots, the teacher forces the student for competition thereby decreasing their friendships. School are certainly making the life of students A BITCH. The condition is more worsened when the results are out. Coming second feels like as if being the first looser. Aptly saying, the 'second guy' is exasperated, abased and catatonic. He looks on his report card as if he is castrated. Enough of all those philosophical issues. Time to go modern and to the
